188 Congressmen signed the Corona impeachment in less than one hour

Manila, Philippines - Justice delayed is Justice denied. In the case of Chief Justice Renato Corona's impeachment case, the justice came very quickly, in a record-breaking time of less than hour. Of course, the Gloria Arroyo loyalists can always complain and argue but no one's listening. It is the call of the Filipino people and also the call of Philippine president Noynoy Aquino to put Gloria Arroyo and her cohorts to be held liable and put behind bars for their sins they have committed against Filipinos.

I'd like to commend our House Speaker Feliciano Belmonte for such an achievement. Shame on the Arroyo followers. I also believe that CJ Renato Corona should be impeached. Midnight appointment and shamelessly favoring Arroyo to most SC rulings. In the first place, CJ Renato Corona should have not accepted the SC appointment since it is clearly a midnight appointment shortly before Arroyo's term ended in 2010. How can we expect every ordinary people to follow the SC rulings when even the Supreme Court justice is not following and intentionally disobeying it?

Question: Why is there a need for quick approval of the impeachment case of Corona?
Answer: A pre-emptive strike against the allies of Gloria Arroyo.

In 2005, Arroyo allies filed a bogus impeachment complain ahead of more serious complainants. Iglesia Ni Cristo member Congressman Rodante Marcoleta endorsed the impeachment complaint filed by Oliver Lozano. While in 2007, it was Laguna Congressman Edgar San Luis who endorsed the complaint of lawyer Ruel Pulido. We can also remember that the political cult of Iglesia Ni Cristo is a close ally of Gloria Arroyo. Iglesia Ni Cristo member Congressman Rodante Marcoleta did not signed the impeachment complaint against the Ombudsman of Arroyo, Merceditas Gutierrez. And now, Iglesia Ni Cristo member Congressman Rodante Marcoleta did not again signed the impeachment complaint against the SC justice of Arroyo, Renato Corona.
