Religious Discrimination: Join the cult of Iglesia Ni Cristo or Lose your Job?

Have you heard about INC members being favored in having jobs in SM Malls in the Philippines? Because in Iglesia Ni Cristo of the Manalo family, union rallies are not allowed. (though INC is highly active in political rallies). Have you heard about poor folks being forced to be converted to INC before getting married to an INC member? Because INC membership is totally decreasing and recruitment of members are getting harder and harder.

Desperate move.

Now read this. A construction company in Guam is being sued for religious discrimination after one of its supervisor coerced an employee into converting to Iglesia Ni Manalo or lose his job. Former Black Construction employee Rolando T. Canoy filed a law suit after being terminated from his job. His former supervisor Robert Redolozo encouraged and requested him to attend the 'religious' sessions of Iglesia Ni Cristo. All went well when he decided to attend some gatherings but things started to get sour when he declined to attend further more. Canoy eventually lost his job.
